About Me
My Name is James, also known under under the Alias of WiDoWm4k3r Photography, Cenotaph (Band\Producer Crossover) & WiDoWm4k3r (DJ).
My primary artistic passion is photography, this passion came from my love for imaging post production, I figured rather than editing stock images I should be taking my own. While have only been taking photos for 2 years, I have learned great deal thanks to the artists on DeviantArt and their critiques.
Only 5 months into my photography presence on DeviantArt, one of my photos was featured on DeviantArt as what is called a daily deviation. This was a great honour, this was a primary point where I knew I wanted to improve my photographic abilities. Not Long after I received my second Daily Deviation, one of my photos was purchased and then was soon after featured in a Art Magazine names U Mag for my HDR work. Since then I have started travelling to take photos all over the world, I would be honoured to take photos one day for National Geographic but that is a dream.
I am always trying to find something new to take photos of and new ways of producing my shots, I have dabbled in HDR, Dragan Effect, Film Darkroom Simulations and am a lover of Panoramic Imagary. Due to this love for post production I have chosen to use a Pentax, my current camera is the Pentax K-5, this DSLR captures an abundance of manipulable data for me to play with. Currently I classify this as an intense hobby, I have sold a handful of prints but I don’t do it for the money.
I will continue to travel and explore to capture the world and hopefully learn new things along the way.
